IP OR DEFINITIVE HERITAGE? OUR ROLE

Our law firm will protect your IP, using its best efforts for
ensure your rights. Anyway, as well known, it is not
possible to defend and protect the work of composers
after 70 years after his/her death.
Notwithstanding that, UNESCO established its Lists
of Intangible Cultural Heritage with the aim of
ensuring better protection of important intangible
cultural heritages worldwide and the awareness
of their significance. This list is published by the
Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding
of Intangible Cultural Heritage and its members
are elected by State parties meeting in UN
General Assembly.
Through a compendium of the different oral and
intangible treasures. We can consider both such
definitions of UNESCO and the general idea that
some works of musical art are immortal, regardless
of any protection. Clearly the lawyers’ work ends
in front of beauty collars such as e.g. the nine
symphonies of Beethoven, since they are even
new works of art inspired by this immortal
music to preserve the value of intellectual property.
